Siri AI won't get more control of Apple apps until Spring 2027

Siri is already capable of handling some tasks for iOS 27.3 developer beta users. Apple is exploring making it even more useful to keep up with rival AI apps.


Developers in iOS 27.3 are discovering that Siri AI can do a lot more for users. For first-party apps, users can ask Siri what it can do, and then ask for it to carry out those same tasks.

However, this is only one step for Apple. It wants to do a lot more, both in terms of task complexity and for third-party apps too.
